Trailer Tracking

Cost effective, real time trailer tracking has been a challenge for earlier generation technologies. The need to manage power consumption and conserve battery state for extended periods between re-charging was one barrier to overcome.

Eagle-i’s latest generation IVU overcomes this and other challenges, presenting the trailer sector with a low cost, fully functional GPRS tracking solution delivered over Monitor2.

In addition, Eagle-i’s RFID technology can be used as a low cost method to pair tractors and trailers, giving “unaccompanied” trailer operators true visibility over who is hauling their trailers and goods.
